Biography

Robert Jordan, born James Oliver Rigney Jr., was an American author best known for his acclaimed fantasy series, The Wheel of Time. Jordan began writing the epic saga in 1984 and continued to captivate readers with his intricate world-building, complex characters, and gripping plotlines over the course of 11 books. Sadly, Jordan passed away in 2007 before completing the final installment of the series. In 2007, acclaimed fantasy writer Brandon Sanderson was chosen to complete The Wheel of Time series based on Jordan's extensive notes and outlines.
