Bryan Lee O'Malley is a Canadian author and artist best known for creating the critically-acclaimed graphic novel series, Scott Pilgrim. Born in London, Ontario, O'Malley studied film at the University of Western Ontario before pursuing a career in comics. After releasing his first graphic novel, Lost At Sea, in 2003, O'Malley went on to create the six-volume Scott Pilgrim series which follows the adventures of slacker musician Scott Pilgrim as he battles his girlfriend's seven evil exes. The series gained widespread popularity for its unique blend of humor, romance, and video game-inspired storytelling. In addition to his work on Scott Pilgrim, O'Malley has also written and illustrated other graphic novels such as Seconds and Snotgirl.
